Reverse Osmosis Chemicals

Precipitation of scale and deposits build up on the RO membrane, which leads to poor permeate quality, low permeate production, unscheduled downtime, increased water consumption and increased energy costs. Scaling and iron fouling of the RO membranes will reduce system performance and lead to premature membrane replacement. Besides, biological fouling of membrane systems is a widespread problem throughout the RO industry.  This problem greatly reduces the operating efficiency of an RO system by reducing normalized permeate flow rates, increasing feed pressures, and reducing salt rejection rates.  Biological fouling causes these operating inefficiencies by increasing the feed-to-reject
differential pressure that, if left untreated, will lead to irreversible damage to the membranes.
By increasing the differential pressure, the biofilm creates low flow conditions over the
membrane that is favorable for colloidal fouling, scaling, and more biological growth.

MUCHENTEC RO antiscalants is highly effective scale inhibitors developed for reverse osmosis (RO) systems.
Depend on customers' requirements, we have kind of antiscalants that have received NSF/International or FDA certification.

MUCHENTEC develops an innovative bio-control program for RO biocides which can minimize the bio-fouling effectively in RO/NF systems based on the concept of halogen stabilization.
